Is the Genesis account of Noah’s Flood reliable? I believe that it is certain. Flood deniers must account for many things. One of which is the numerous Flood Legends from around the world. If Noah’s Flood never happened then how do the skeptics account for a variety of “cataclysmic flood” stories from geographically separated and diverse cultures? While many of the details vary, the gist of the narrative is shockingly (for skeptics anyway), connected. The main tenets of the accounts are:

1. Mankind rebelled against God

2. God sent the Flood as a judgment against man’s rebellion and gratuitous wickedness

3. Only a select few were saved from the Deluge

Thus, it stands, for the unbiased seeker, that the plethora of Flood legends serves only to provide even more solidified premises for the historicity and validity of the Genesis account of what is known as “Noah’s Flood.”

In 1929 Edwin Hubble observed that the Universe is expanding. Isaiah 40:22 “It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.” Interesting isn’t it?
