“To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare with Him?” (Isaiah 40:18)

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting GOd, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.” (Isaiah 40:28)

“Even from eternity I am He, and there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?” (Isaiah 43:13)

Job said, “I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” (Job 42:2)

The Wycliffe Bible Commentary provides the following insight on Isaiah 43:8-13:

Here the servant-nation is presented as God’s witness to the Gentile world. Restored Israel, cured of her blindness, was to qualify as a witness to the truth and faithfulness of the living God—in contrast to the pagan devotees of idolatry, who could testify to nothing like this in their own gods. It was Israel’s responsibility to proclaim Jehovah as the only God there is, and as the only Saviour of sinners. 12. Never was any heathen deity associated with Jehovah in delivering Israel from foreign tyranny or national peril. Never did the Almighty show forth his power to save except when his people put away their worship of all other gods. (C.F. Pfeiffer, The Wycliffe Bible Commentary: Old Testament (Is 43:8) (Chicago: Moody Press, 1962), in Libronix Library System [CD-ROM]).
